Child patients are cared for within the NHS, and regular appointments are essential to identify any problems from an early age. It may be necessary for more frequent visits in some cases, for example during orthodontic treatment or if a high rate of decay is detected.
To help maintain a healthy mouth and smile, we recommend dental visits for children as soon as the first teeth erupt.
Always a friendly welcome, staff remember you which makes it so much more personal. The practice is also looking great with its new look. Very happy patient will continue to come for many more year and would highly recommend.
Glad to have been able to get to the dentist again. New management and refurbished premises and facilities. Covid safeguards reassuring and the dentist, hygienist and reception team were all welcoming and proficient as usual here. Thanks
Dr Jan is so patient and caring whilst also not taking fuss! Best dentist I’ve had would highly recommend, new facilities are gorgeous. Positive experience which isn’t normally the case for a dentists
It is important to establish good oral hygiene habit from a young age and ensure excellent dental health as children grow. This is why we recommend children visit the dentist as soon as their first teeth erupt.
Our dentist are highly experienced working with patients of all ages and those with dental anxiety. By creating a welcoming environment, taking things slowly and making appointments “fun” we build up trust with your child so they can feel comfortable in a dental environment.
As a base we recommend children visit the dentist every 6 months for a checkup, though this may be more frequent depending on their oral health.
